Thanksgiving Match-up Seeks Local Hosts
October 16, 2009 8:32 AM
USC’s Office of International Services invites Trojans to host USC international students for a Thanksgiving dinner.
The USC Thanksgiving Match-up Program pairs international students with local host families for Thanksgiving. The purpose of the program is to facilitate friendship and understanding among USC international students and members of the Los Angeles community.
USC currently enrolls more than 6,000 international students - the largest population among universities in the United States - many of whom are far from home during the holidays.
Each year more than 80 students, ranging from freshmen to graduate students, participate in this program.
Those who are interested in participating can contact the Office of International Services at (213) 740-9742 or oistgday@usc.edu. The office is located in the Student Union, Room 300.
