Nationally acclaimed poet and four-time Pushcart Prize winner Mark Irwin, assistant professor of English at USC College, has completed his sixth collection of poetry following his 2004 collection Bright Hunger. Melissa Studdard Williamson of the American Book Review praised his work, saying, “Irwin is a poet who looks into the world and sees more questions than answers big questions, inquiries that explore the nature of existence, meaning and reality.”
